Where Passion, Power, and Pride Play Together

Queen’s Collective was born from a simple, powerful truth: we were tired of sitting on the sidelines… not just in sports, but in the spaces meant to celebrate them. Too often, women’s sports and LGBTQ+ fans have been overlooked, underserved, and underrepresented. So we decided to build the space we always wanted: one that’s LOUD, PROUD, AND UNAPOLOGETICALLY OURS.

This is more than a sports bar, it’s a love letter to the power of women in sports and a rallying point for community, connection, and culture. We lead with women’s sports, elevate diverse voices, and deliver a vibe that’s bold, inclusive, and electric.

At Queen’s Collective, you’re not just a spectator, YOU’RE PART OF SOMETHING BIGGER. Whether you're here to cheer on your team, raise a glass with friends, or be inspired by the next generation of athletes and change makers, YOU BELONG.

Welcome home. The game is on — and this time, it’s on our terms.

Built by Athletes. Driven by Community.

Queen’s Collective was founded by five queer women — athletes, advocates, adventurers, and fans — who were done waiting for change. Each founder brings a lifetime of lived experience: grit on the field, grace under pressure, and an unshakable commitment to building a space where every voice is lifted, every game matters, and every guest feels at home.

They’ve played the games. They’ve lived the disparities. They’ve built careers in the heat of competition, the chaos of hospitality, the precision of healthcare, and the adventure of the unknown  and they’ve poured it all into Queen’s Collective.

Our founders reflect the vibrant, resilient spirit of Wilton Manors  and stand shoulder to shoulder with the community we serve. Because when women lead, communities rise. And when we take the shot, we change the game.

The Visionary

Dana Timmer (she/they)

Born and raised in Michigan, Dana (or "DT" to her people) grew up playing hockey year-round — pond in the winter, street in the summer — starting at age six. From pickup games to shootouts, she consistently held her own (and then some) against boys years older, building grit, vision, and an instinct for creating plays that win.

Halfway through college, Dana made the call to bet on herself — knowing she could build something better than what the traditional path had to offer. She went on to spend 15 years in the startup tech world, where she led with clarity, scaled with speed, and learned that real leadership starts at the ground level.

Along the way, she never forgot where she came from — hospitality paid the bills in college, and now it fuels the future. In Dana’s words: bartending is just startup energy behind a bar — the ultimate form of project management, executed in real time.

Today, Dana is still lacing up as a right back in South Florida’s soccer community and dedicates time to coaching youth players — passing on the same love for sport and team that shaped her own path.

After a few years in the Pacific Northwest, Dana was deeply inspired by the greats who opened the first women’s sports bars — a true “if you see it, you can be it” moment. That fire now lives in Queen’s Collective: a bold, intentional, community-first space redefining hospitality through the power of women in sport.

If you know Dana, you know real hospitality — grounded, instinctive, and welcoming as hell. She can’t wait to set the table for you.

The Connector

Jess McFarlane (she/her) (but you can call her Soul)

With 15 years of roller derby experience, Jess McFarlane — known to many as Soul — brings grit, passion, and a team-first spirit to everything she takes on. As both a coach and skater for one of the top 10 ranked roller derby teams in the world, Jess has competed at the highest level, traveling across the country to battle it out on the track and lead her team to success.

Off the track, Jess has built a successful career in business, focusing on quality and talent management, where she’s known for turning big ideas into standout experiences. Rooted in her Chinese Jamaican heritage, she’s also the proud chef of her household, where she loves experimenting with new recipes that blend rich cultural flavors.

Now, as co-founder of Queen’s Collective Sport House, Jess is channeling her love for women’s sports into a one-of-a-kind space where community comes first. She’s passionate about creating a place where every fan feels welcome, where voices are lifted, and where women’s sports are celebrated loud and proud. Whether she’s planning events, curating the perfect menu, or raising a glass alongside guests, Soul is dedicated to building connections, celebrating shared passions, and making space for everyone at the table.

The Gamechanger

Kristen Cometto (she/her)

Originally from South Carolina and a proud first-generation American with Argentine roots, Kristen grew up immersed in athletics—playing soccer, basketball, and ultimately collegiate golf.

After earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!), Kristen built a thriving career as a veterinarian in Oakland Park, where she’s spent over a decade known for her compassion, precision, and relentless work ethic.

But the vision for Queen’s Collective was deeply personal. As a former collegiate athlete, Kristen saw firsthand the stark disparities between men’s and women’s sports in terms of recognition, support, and visibility. Frustrated by walking into sports bars only to find women’s games sidelined—or missing altogether—she knew something had to change.

Queen’s Collective is her answer: a bold, welcoming venue where women’s sports are always on and always celebrated. Kristen’s mission is clear—to create an inclusive home for fans who are tired of being an afterthought and ready to lead the charge for equity in sports culture.

The Powerhouse

Jennifer Sinner (she/her)

A lifelong athlete with a fierce competitive spirit, Jennifer Sinner brings unmatched energy, drive, and an infectious smile to Queen’s Collective. From dominating the soccer field as a collegiate standout to jamming her way to the top as an all-star roller derby athlete on a top 10 team worldwide, Jenn thrives where intensity meets teamwork — all while cracking jokes and keeping the vibe light.

In college, Jenn got her first taste of the service industry as a server in a high-volume sports bar and restaurant. It was more than just a job – it was where she discovered her love for the energy, connection, and chaos of hospitality. From handling packed sections during peak hours to managing mayhem with poise, Jenn thrived in the hustle; she honed sharp communication, quick decision-making, and the kind of people skills you can’t teach. The front-of-house grind built the foundation for everything that followed – fueling her evolution from health and fitness coaching to life-or-death clinical care as a trauma ICU nurse, she embodies relentless dedication and an unshakable commitment to serving others.

Off the clock, Jenn is a strength and conditioning powerhouse — muscles for days and a passion for helping others unlock their own strength. Funny, warm, and always smiling, Jenn channels her love of sport, community, and empowerment into Queen’s Collective, creating a space where women athletes and fans can come together, celebrate, and thrive. Her mission? Build a space where women’s sports are front and center, strength is celebrated, and fun is non-negotiable.

The Captain

Joelle Raymond (she/her)

A New York native and licensed boat captain, Joelle Raymond has spent over a decade in the travel adventure industry, leading people to unforgettable experiences across all 50 states - from boat tours at the Statue Of Liberty to guided hikes into the Grand Canyon. Her passion for connection, community, and inclusivity eventually led her to help launch Queen’s Collective Sport House, a women-owned sports bar dedicated to celebrating the full spectrum of women’s sports. It’s a social space to watch your favorite teams where everyone is welcome, there is a sense of camaraderie and women are uplifted.

For her, being a part of this business is not only about sports—it’s about representation and developing a collective in a place like Wilton Manors, where those values are embraced.

When she’s not working behind the scenes at QC, you can find Joelle enjoying the outdoors, exploring new waterways, or planning her next great adventure abroad.
